Date Night!

Tonight hubby and I went on our first date in a VERY long time!!! With our daughter we are ALWAYS with her or at something to do with soccer...

But....... not tonight we went to the Great State Fair of Oklahoma, something we haven 't done together alone without our daughter in years or maybe actually ever!

So first we headed for the food!

I love, love, love the Wisconsin Fried Cheese and save up all year for it...  oh and extra ranch please!

Cheddar nuggets with ranch... yummo!

I topped it off with dessert of course....

Hubby got his favorite old standby...

Footlong Corn Dog...... 

We even got to pick up free concert, The Eli Young Band was playing and that was a great surprise for the $2.00 entry fee to get in tonight you just can't beat that for a great night out!

So we went into the car building and saw all the new cars which hubby enjoys doing so much and left there and saw this interesting little tidbit...

We didn't try it but really who would?  Sorry sounds gross to me!  My hubby jokes and says, "back when we were Paramedics we would have considered this JOB SECURITY"  ;-)

We headed to the midway and my softie of a husband still has it and won me a prize!  He is quite the winner on the ring the bottle game and he still has it even after all these years!

All in all it was a great night, we had a wonderful time and even after all these years we still can enjoy each others company even with the carnies shouting out at us all night... ;-)
