It's boomin' here in Okie Land.....

So I was around during the 1st oil boom and yes then bust of the 80's here in Oklahoma.

The economy is stable here for us in Oklahoma and there are jobs to be had in oil and gas for those willing to work hard.

This was just on our local news last night:
Oil & Gas companies to add nearly 250 jobs

Then low and behold I turn on the TV this morning and saw this Great State report.

Great State reports are done by a local photojournalist, Galen Culver and he does so many great stories on our wonderful, unique and sometimes fascinating Great State of Oklahoma.

 

This is good news for my fellow oilfield peeps and even for those who are in search of work, and it is even better news for those of us here in Oklahoma who work onshore oil patch jobs... Drill Baby Drill!
